Ferulic acid is a very common component in natural plants and usually used as a raw material for spices. It mainly exists in the cell wall. Its stronger antioxidant property can protect cell, which make ferulic acid applicable as antioxidant and photostage inhabitation in cosmetics [1]. Ferulic acid also presents in some herbal medicines, such as female ginseng, Cimicifuga foetida and Ligusticum wallichii. [2]
