What's new

We have some new products in Green tea extraction series.

Natural L-theanine: exploring the calming and cognitive benefits

Natural L-theanine is an amino acid that is commonly found in tea leaves, particularly in green and black tea. It is known for its calming and relaxing properties, helping to promote a sense of mental clarity and focus without causing drowsiness.[1] L-theanine is believed to enhance alpha brain wave activity, which is associated with a state of relaxation and alertness. It is also thought to support healthy stress responses and improve mood.[2] Natural L-theanine is often used as a dietary supplement to support relaxation, mental well-being, and overall cognitive function.

Theaflavins: unveiling the golden essence of tea

Theaflavin (TF) and its derivatives, known collectively as theaflavins, are antioxidant polyphenols that are formed from the catechin in green tea leaves through enzymatic oxidation. Renowned for their distinct golden hue and unique flavor, theaflavins have earned the nickname "gold in tea leaves."

Beyond their aesthetic appeal, theaflavins possess noteworthy antioxidant properties [3] akin to other polyphenols found in green tea. However, recent research has unveiled their potential beyond antioxidation. Studies indicate that theaflavins may contribute to blood lipid adjustment, enhance blood circulation, and prevention of type-II diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.[4][5]

It is just a beginning, as we will delve deeper into their origins, to find out the intriguing health benefits and improve the quality during the production.

Join us on this journey of discovery as we uncover the captivating essence of theaflavins and their potential to enhance well-being.

What's improved

Green tea extract

In the past two years, our efforts have been focused on controlling pesticide residue and DBP (Phthalic acid, dibutyl ester). Currently, we have successfully met the requirements of European regulation EC 19/2007, which sets limits for plasticizers, as well as EC 396/2005, which establishes maximum limits for pesticide residue.

Rice bran oil

In our current efforts, we are focusing on managing the presence of trans fats in rice bran oil. We have made significant progress this year, successfully maintaining the trans fat content below 1%. This achievement surpasses the European Union's regulation (EU) 2019/649 of 2% trans fats. We will keep conducting research in order to further improve the quality and health benefits of our rice bran oil.
